Who We Are
Founded in 2008, The Odd Gentlemen is a multi-award-winning narrative game company passionate about creating heartfelt, humorous, and diverse stories told through charming and innovative gameplay with breathtaking visuals.
We create games with positive messaging and universal themes that appeal to gamers of all ages and backgrounds. Our studio has shipped over 40 SKUs including The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and the best selling, critically acclaimed, episodic, King’s Quest.
Our company is structured to broaden inclusivity and increase accessibility in games. We are one of the earliest game studios in the world to have hired dedicated accessibility staff members, who are leaders and innovators in the field of accessibility. By fully integrating accessibility into the pipeline, we hope to not only increase the size of our player base, but also push the boundaries of game design as a whole.

Matt Korba
PRESIDENT | CREATIVE DIRECTOR | WRITER
Matt Korba is a Designer/Writer passionate about telling new stories through the medium of games. He created The Odd Gentlemen in 2008 to pursue the dream of creating a company that could tell stories on par with the best animated film companies with innovative gameplay and breathtaking visuals. He loves his wife and two kids, his team, and his pugs, and kittens.

David Stanton
VICE PRESIDENT | COMPOSER
David Stanton met Matt Korba while he was at USC’s Thorton School of Music when he submitted a musical piece to audition for the student version of The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom. That piece became the title track for the game and the two have collaborated on every project since for the last 15 years.

Michael Annetta
PRODUCTION LEAD
Michael Annetta is a multidisciplinary producer and experience designer who has worked across the entertainment industry for over 25 years. For The Odd Gentlemen, Michael focuses the team on all things production and uses his varied skill set to jump into other departments as needed, from audio to design to writing.

Matt Daigle
CO-CREATOR | CO-WRITER - HARMONIUM
Matt Daigle is a comedic writer, award-winning illustrator, designer and the artist/co-creator of the webcomic, That Deaf Guy. Matt has published two humor books Extreme Interpreting and In Deaf Culture. With his wife Kay, he has published two books, That Deaf Guy: A Family Portrait and That Deaf Guy: A Wild Ride. In addition to his creative work, Matt holds a Masters degree from Gallaudet University in Sign Language Education and is a professor at California State University Northridge in the Deaf Studies Department.

Kay Daigle
CO-CREATOR | CO-WRITER - HARMONIUM
Kay Daigle is a comedic writer, actor, and co-creator of the webcomic, That Deaf Guy. In addition to her writing work, Kay is a certified sign language interpreter with 30 years of professional experience. She holds a Masters Degree from Gallaudet University in Sign Language Interpretation and a certificate in DeafBlind studies from Northern Illinois University. She met her husband Matt Daigle, in 1990 while touring in a Deaf/Hearing theater company under the auspices of NTID/RIT in Rochester, New York.

Morgan Baker
LEAD ACCESSIBILITY | WRITER | DESIGNER
Morgan Baker (she/they) is an award-winning game accessibility specialist and inclusive designer. Being a Deaf musician herself, Harmonium is a project that is special to her and close to her heart. In addition to designing and writing for Harmonium, Morgan has also proudly worked on several other game titles ranging from indie to AAA to improve accessible design and authentic representation. When she isn’t making games, you will find her enjoying a good book, organizing local esports tournaments, or cuddling with her two corgis.

Harmony Baniaga
ARTIST | PERFORMER | ACTRESS PLAYING MELODY
Harmony Baniaga (she/her) is a Deaf Filipina, born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She’s a Gallaudet University alumni, she graduated with a major in American Sign Language (ASL) and a minor in Dance, May 2022. A dance member of Gallaudet Dance Company at Gallaudet University, and recently she joined the Hip-Hop dance crew RTHMZ in Seattle and has been working alongside them for the past year. Also is a Deaf performer interpreting concerts and music festivals with Pro Bono ASL.

David Liu
ART DIRECTOR
David Liu is a 2D Artist with a focus on illustration, concepts, and animation. He is an American born Taiwanese-Filipino with a love for retro anime and video games. His passion for detailed and fantastical designs made art direction of Harmonium an amazing journey. Being able to have Filipino representation in a video game was a dream come true for him.

Erik Beyer
TECH ART LEAD
Erik attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, studying animation and computer programming. He worked on titles for Mattel, MMORPGs for NCSoft, and eventually became Lead Animator and Cinematic artist on LEGO Universe. At The Odd Gentlemen, Erik provides technical art service for animators and modelers, creating rigs for animation, VFX for in-engine use, and support for a variety of developer tools.

Donia Liechti
3D ART LEAD
Donia Liechti is the Lead 3D Artist at TOG. With a background in Animation and VFX, Donia has quickly harnessed the power of real-time engines and is dedicated to creating immersive worlds and unique characters where every player finds their own story.

Armando Wilderman
ANIMATION LEAD
Since graduating from DigiPen Institute of Technology in 2002, Armando has consistently been working in games and animation. Since joining The Odd Gentlemen, Armando has found a comfortable home driving animation quality and experimental gameplay, kickstarting new projects and prototypes. Serving as the Animation Lead on Harmonium and other projects, he's been managing our international team of animators and contractors and raising the bar on character controls and cinematics in storytelling games.

Humberto Cunha
CONCEPT ARTIST & 2D ART LEAD
Humberto Cunha joined the Odd Gentlemen in the winter of his fortieth year. During his formative years being an odd boy himself, he never felt like he belonged, art being the only refuge from a boring life. Later on in life, after working in television, animation and comics, he still felt like something was missing, suddenly surrounded by odd gentlemen like him he never felt more at home.

Brody Brooks
TOOLS ENGINEER
Brody is a gameplay and tools programmer with over 10 years experience working in games. On his off hours, he explores new game tools and frameworks, and looks after his dog, Kepler.

Matt Pyers
DESIGN LEAD
Visual scripting flows through his veins. That and Moxie. Designing games and immersive experiences are his obsessions. He's always down for marathon board game and D&D sessions that last all weekend. He can tell you where the best escape room is within a 10 mile radius.

Brandon Popovich
TECH DESIGNER LEAD
Brandon Popovich is a Technical Designer who specializes in the Unreal Engine. A teacher, a mentor, and a leader. Brandon has sought to uplift those around him with his ability to teach advance systems across many different professions across the game industry. He is proud to be working on the many wonderful projects that The Odd Gentlemen has in store for the future.

Shendy Wu (they/them) is a 3D animator and cinematic artist with a passion for bringing characters to life. Their expertise extends across movie previs, AAA titles, and indie games. Shendy's unwavering passion for character animation finds a fitting canvas in Harmonium, where storytelling takes center stage.

ANIMATOR
Søren Bro Sparre is a professional Deaf animator from Denmark. Has worked on feature films, TV series, commercials and computer games. Has a great passion for working with sign language in animation and takes on new challenges with great joy. For The Odd Gentlemen, Søren is a 3D animator and storyboard artist and dreams of working with more video games and films with sign language in the future.

Cherise is an animator originally from Hawaiʻi who loves her job of bringing characters to life. She has a loving husband Ryan, and two cute cats, Cisco and Juniper. She has a weakness for Boba tea and donuts, which she consumes to fuel her creative energy. She is honored to work on a game that brings a unique perspective to the world.

Rebecca (RJ) Stansell

Rebecca is an animator and self-proclaimed crazy cat lady who enjoys puzzling out how to bring life and personality to characters. Since playing computer adventure games as a family growing up, she maintains a lifelong enjoyment of puzzles, games, and stories that bring people together. She is proud to be living her dream of helping to create games similar to those that inspired her.

Jacob is a 3D character artist and animator with a passion for appealing characters and emotional storytelling. He has previously worked on projects including Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, Billie Bustup, Poglings, Ambertail Island, Fading Skies and All Hail King Julien. His interests outside the industry include environmental pursuits like hiking and regenerative gardening.

Kat Carras is a Story Artist and Cinematic Designer. As a queer, autistic person, she is passionate about representation in stories, so working on Harmonium was a wonderful journey. She is grateful to the Deaf folks and the fantastic team who made Harmonium possible.

Sully Zack is a Game Designer and Scripter with a passion for the intersection between theater and video games. After graduating from USC in 2021, he began working with The Odd Gentlemen on Harmonium, where he got to explore that passion daily. He is excited for players to explore the vibrant magic of Harmonium and grateful to the team for the chance to learn and grow with them.

Zeke is a Senior 3D Artist that wears many hats-from modeling to lighting. He has been working in the game industry since 2010 and is on a mission to help push gaming forward in innovation in both the 2D and VR spaces! If he were a video game console, it'd be the Dreamcast.

Nicholas Foong is a concept artist currently based in Singapore. Like many others, he grew up with a love of film and video games and eventually decided to make a career out of it. In his downtime you can find him either sweating it out in the bouldering gyms or on a really really long run (even though he hates it).

Anthea Kerou
ANIMATOR
Anthea Kerou (b. USA) is an American artist with Greek and English roots, who embodies the spirit of experimentation in the vivid realms of art and technology. Her artistic journey began with a deep passion for Fine Arts, evolving into a remarkable 20-year career in 3D character animation. After achieving a Masters of Science in Computer Arts degree from New York University, Anthea worked on 20 feature films at prestigious feature film studios including Disney, Dreamworks, Blue Sky, Sony Animation, and Digital Domain.

Mandy Harvey
ADVISOR | SINGER | SONGWRITER
Mandy Harvey is a singer, songwriter, author, and speaker who happens to be deaf. After losing her residual hearing due to complications with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Mandy created a new system for staying connected to music based on vibrations and touch. Mandy was Simon Cowell‘s “Golden Buzzer” pick on America’s Got Talent. The video has collectively received over 600 million views. Mandy uses her talents and artistry to encourage others which can be seen by her many acts as part of nonprofit organizations such as No Barriers USA and work for “Music: Not Impossible” with Not Impossible Labs which was named one of TIME Magazine's Top Inventions of 2023. She has released 5 studio albums and a book "Sensing The Rhythm." Her heart is to help others achieve their dreams by encouraging them to “Try” and move forward as a community.

Amber Galloway
PROJECT ADVISOR
Amber Galloway consults and coordinates a multitude of projects in the music and entertainment world. She is a Hard of Hearing music performance interpreter and her life’s work has been in the entertainment field, creating music interpreting standards and changing the common perspective of what music access means to Deaf and Hard of hearing individuals. She is the owner and operator of Amber G Productions.

Derrian Tabilin
PROJECT ADVISOR
Derrian Tabilin (they/them) is a Pilipinx hard of hearing signer from Riverside, California. They're currently a PhD student attending the University of California, Riverside where they study intersectionality and identity development among Deaf and hard of hearing individuals and its impact on mental health outcomes. Alongside being a cultural consultant on the advisory board, they are involved in the Deaf community in various ways including being the ASL Club Advisor and part of the Deaf Education Task Force at UCR, and a representative for the Southern California Asian Deaf Association (SCADA).

Leo Samaniego

Leo Samaniego (he/him/his) is a Deaf Filipino American born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. He has been employed by the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works as an Office Engineering Technician for 5 years. Outside of work, he loves to spend time with family, explore new foods, play video games (currently engrossed in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom), watch and play sports, and collect NBA/NFL digital moments.

Evan Cagle
CONCEPT ART
Award-winning illustrator, comic artist, animator, and video game art director, Evan provided concept art for some of the early ideas in Harmonium. He is currently working on his debut creator-owned comic book, Dawn Runner, for Dark Horse Comics. His credits include Richard Linklater's animated adaptation of Philip K. Dick's A Scanner Darkly, and the critically acclaimed 2015 reboot of the classic adventure game King's Quest. He currently lives and works in France.
